Description
The issue is related to insufficient protection of internal data in the ksmbd module of the Linux kernel, which can be exploited by a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to protected information or cause a denial of service. This can be achieved using SMB2 QUERY INFO and SMB2 LOGOFF commands.
