Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'embedpress calendar' shortcode due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Recommendations For EmbedPress plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 3.8.2, update to a version later than 3.8.2 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the 'embedpress calendar' shortcode for users with contributor-level and above permissions until a patch is available.
