Description The issue is related to unauthorized access of data due to a missing capability check on the sd global value() function hooked via an AJAX action. This allows authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to retrieve sensitive global value information.

Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 2.8.7, consider disabling the sd global value() function until a patch is available to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive data. Restrict access to the AJAX action hooked to the sd global value() function to minimize the risk of exploitation.
