VetorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Debug Log Manager plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.2.1
Description The issue is related to Cross-Site Request Forgery due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the clear log() function. This allows unauthenticated attackers to clear the debug log via a forged request if they can trick a site administrator into performing an action, such as clicking on a link.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 2.2.1, consider disabling the clear log() function until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. Restrict access to the debug log management functionality to minimize the risk of unauthorized log clearing. Avoid using the Debug Log Manager plugin until an updated version with proper nonce validation is released.
