Description The Icons Font Loader plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to missing file type validation in the upload function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to upload arbitrary files on the affected site's server, which may make remote code execution possible.

Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 1.1.2, update to a version that includes the fix for the missing file type validation in the upload function. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the upload function in the Icons Font Loader plugin until a patch is available. Restrict access to the plugin's upload functionality to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the plugin until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
