Description The issue is related to an out of bounds write past the end of an allocated buffer while parsing a specially crafted SPP file. This could allow an attacker to execute code in the context of the current process. The vulnerability is associated with a buffer overflow in memory, which can be exploited by an attacker using a specially crafted file.

Recommendations For versions prior to V2201.0008, update to version V2201.0008 or later to resolve the issue. For versions prior to V2302.0002, update to version V2302.0002 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of SPP files from untrusted sources until a patch is applied.
