VetorAV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.18 and earlier
Description The issue is related to a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. It could be exploited by a low-privileged attacker to inject malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields. When a victim browses to the page containing the vulnerable field, malicious JavaScript may be executed in their browser. The vulnerability is also related to the lack of protection of the web page structure, which could allow a remote attacker to conduct a cross-site scripting attack.
Recommendations For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.18 and earlier, consider disabling the vulnerable form fields until a patch is available. Restrict access to the vulnerable pages to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the vulnerable fields in the affected forms until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
