Description The issue is related to improper authorization in the GL Accounts component of Oracle Trade Management, allowing a low-privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the system. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized creation, deletion, or modification access to critical data or all accessible data, as well as unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all accessible data.

Recommendations For versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.13, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue to prevent exploitation. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the GL Accounts component to minimize the risk of unauthorized data access. Additionally, restrict HTTP access to the Oracle Trade Management system to reduce the attack surface.
