Description The issue is related to weaknesses in the authorization mechanism of the Auctions component in Oracle Sourcing, part of the Oracle E-Business Suite. This can allow a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to create, modify, and delete data using the HTTP protocol. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle Sourcing accessible data.

Recommendations For versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.13, consider restricting access to the Auctions component until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, limit network access via HTTP to minimize the risk of exploitation.
