Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: WP VR – 360 Panorama and Free Virtual Tour Builder For WordPress versions up to, and including, 8.5.32

Description: The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages via the hotspot-hover parameter. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Recommendations: For versions up to, and including, 8.5.32, consider restricting access to the hotspot-hover parameter to prevent exploitation until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, limiting Contributor-level access and above can also help minimize the risk of exploitation.
