Description The mod hdcp hdcp1 create session() function in the Linux kernel does not check the return value of the get first active display() function, potentially leading to a null pointer dereference if the display list is empty. A null pointer check has been added for get first active display(), and the function will return MOD HDCP STATUS DISPLAY NOT FOUND if it returns null.

Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
