Description A memory leak exists in the Linux kernel due to improper handling of memory allocated by the debugfs lookup() function within the pi433 staging driver. Specifically, the memory associated with the function's result was not being released using dput(), leading to a gradual memory leak over time. The issue was addressed by replacing calls to debugfs lookup() with debugfs lookup and remove(), which correctly manages the memory lifecycle.
