Description
The Wikimedia Foundation MediaWiki PollNY extension contains a flaw related to improper input neutralization during web page generation, potentially leading to Stored Cross-site Scripting (XSS). This issue could allow an attacker to inject malicious scripts into web pages viewed by other users. The flaw exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied input before it is incorporated into the generated web content.
Recommendations
Update the MediaWiki PollNY extension to a newer version that addresses this issue.
