Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Nearby Now Reviews plugin for WordPress versions up to and including 5.2

Description The Nearby Now Reviews plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting through the data tech parameter of the nn-tech shortcode. Insufficient input sanitization and output escaping allow authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. These scripts will execute when a user accesses the affected page. The API endpoint involved is the nn-tech shortcode. The vulnerable parameter is data tech.

Recommendations Update the Nearby Now Reviews plugin to a version newer than 5.2.
