Description
A flaw exists in the CWMP client (/ftl/bin/cwmp) of the Small Cell Sercomm SCE4255W (FreedomFi Englewood) firmware. This issue allows remote attackers who control the ACS endpoint to execute arbitrary commands as root. The issue occurs because a crafted TR-069 Download URL, passed without proper sanitization, is used in the firmware upgrade pipeline. The vulnerable component is the
/ftl/bin/cwmp client. The vulnerable parameter is the TR-069 Download URL.Recommendations
