Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Any Post Slider plugin for WordPress versions up to and including 1.0.4

Description The Any Post Slider plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting through the aps slider shortcode. Insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on the post type attribute allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. These scripts will execute when a user accesses the affected page.

Recommendations Update the Any Post Slider plugin to a version newer than 1.0.4.
