Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Employee Directory plugin for WordPress versions up to and including 1.2.1

Description The Employee Directory plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping related to the form title parameter within the search employee directory shortcode. Authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher can inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. These scripts will execute when a user accesses the affected page. The vulnerable parameter is form title and the affected shortcode is search employee directory.

Recommendations Update the Employee Directory plugin to a version later than 1.2.1.
