**Description**
In moodle, some database module web services allowed students to add entries within groups they did not belong to. This issue is fixed in moodle 3.8.6, 3.7.9, 3.5.15, and 3.10.
**Recommendations**
For moodle versions 3.5 through 3.5.14, update to version 3.5.15 to resolve the issue.
For moodle versions 3.7 through 3.7.8, update to version 3.7.9 to resolve the issue.
For moodle versions 3.8 through 3.8.5, update to version 3.8.6 to resolve the issue.
For moodle versions 3.9 through 3.9.2, update to version 3.10 to resolve the issue.
