**Description**
A use-after-free issue exists in the smartcard RDPDR device handler. This occurs when worker thread creation fails following device registration. An attacker can trigger this failure during channel setup, causing the device pointer to be deallocated while the device manager retains a reference, which may result in a system crash or arbitrary code execution.
**Recommendations**
Update to version 3.31.0 or later.
