Description:
The issue allows user-assisted attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in a segmentation fault. This occurs when a 2- or 4-channel JPEG image, or a 2-channel TGA image, is written to a scalar, triggering a NULL pointer dereference.
Recommendations:
For versions prior to 0.50, update to version 0.50 or later to resolve the issue.
