**Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions** XenSource Xen Para Virtualized Frame Buffer (PVFB) versions 3.0 through 3.1.2 **Description** A buffer overflow issue in the backend of XenSource Xen Para Virtualized Frame Buffer (PVFB) allows local users to cause a denial of service (crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via a crafted description of a shared framebuffer. **Recommendations** For versions 3.0 through 3.1.2, update to a version that contains a fix for this issue to prevent potential denial of service and arbitrary code execution.
