Apache · Apache Fineract · CVE-2023-25196
**Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions** Apache Fineract versions 1.4 through 1.8.2 **Description** The issue is related to an SQL Injection vulnerability due to improper neutralization of special elements used in an SQL command. This could allow authorized users to change or add data in certain components. An attacker may be able to read, modify, or delete data by exploiting this vulnerability. **Recommendations** For Apache Fineract versions 1.4 through 1.8.2, consider disabling or restricting access to components that use SQL commands until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, restrict the ability of authorized users to change or add data in certain components to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
