Description:
The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via a buffer overflow, or brute force authentication by using a short cookie length, due to improper checking of the specified length of an X Windows MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE cookie.
Recommendations:
For versions prior to 3.12, update to version 3.12 or later to resolve the issue.
