Description
The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, specifically a null dereference, via unknown vectors in the (1) SCSI, (2) sFlow, or (3) RTnet dissectors.
Recommendations
For Ethereal versions 0.10.12 and earlier, consider disabling the SCSI, sFlow, or RTnet dissectors as a temporary workaround to minimize the risk of exploitation.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
