Description
A buffer overflow issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted project (.MSWMM) file.
Recommendations
For Microsoft Windows Movie Maker versions 2.1 through 6.0, update to a version that is not affected by this issue.
For Microsoft Producer version 2003, update to a version that is not affected by this issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of crafted project (.MSWMM) files until a patch is available.
