Description A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue exists, allowing remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the Windows XP variable in a file. This could potentially lead to unauthorized access or control of the system.

Recommendations For versions prior to 6.1, update to version 6.1 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Windows Event Log SmartConnector to minimize the risk of exploitation.
