Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Tor Browser the Short Guide (aka com.wTorShortUserManual) version 0.1
Description The issue allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof servers and obtain sensitive information via a crafted certificate, as the application does not verify X.509 certificates from SSL servers.
Recommendations For version 0.1, update the application to a version that properly verifies X.509 certificates from SSL servers to prevent man-in-the-middle attacks. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the use of SSL connections in the application until a patch is available. Restrict access to sensitive information to minimize the risk of exploitation.
