Description
The issue is related to an off-by-one error in the IOAcceleratorFamily component, which allows attackers to execute arbitrary code in a privileged context via a crafted app. This can be exploited by an attacker using a specially formed application.
Recommendations
For OS X versions through 10.10.2, update to a version later than 10.10.2 to resolve the issue.
