Description
The issue is related to a flaw in processing video files, allowing remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted .mcl file. This can enable a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations
For Windows Media Center in Microsoft Windows Vista SP2, Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
