Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via vectors involving OPOSCashDrawer.ocx for various printer and cash drawer models. This affects PUSB Thermal Receipt printers, SerialUSB Thermal Receipt printers, Hybrid POS printers with MICR, Value PUSB Receipt printers, Value Serial/USB Receipt printers, and USB Standard Duty cash drawers.

Recommendations For HP Point of Sale Windows PCs OLE Point of Sale (OPOS) drivers versions prior to 1.13.003, update to version 1.13.003 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the OPOSCashDrawer.ocx component to minimize the risk of exploitation.
