Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Serendipity version 2.0.5
Description The issue allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL commands. This is achieved via the cat parameter in the include/functions entries.inc.php file.
Recommendations For Serendipity version 2.0.5, consider restricting access to the cat parameter in the include/functions entries.inc.php file until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the cat parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
