Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions EPESI versions 1.8.2 and earlier
Description The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the original or new parameter in the update translation.php file. This can be exploited by sending malicious input to the vulnerable API endpoint.
Recommendations For EPESI versions 1.8.2 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the update translation.php file until a patch is available. Avoid using the original and new parameters in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
