Description A cross-site scripting issue exists, allowing remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML. This is achieved via the author name in a comment.

Recommendations For versions prior to 2.8.2, update to version 2.8.2 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the ability to post comments or validating and sanitizing the author name field in the admin/comments.php file to prevent malicious input.
