Description The issue is related to insufficient access control in the Qualcomm Access Control component of the Android operating system. This can be exploited by a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code. The vulnerability can be utilized when running module or kernel code with improper access control, allowing writing to arbitrary regions of memory, which may enable altering module executable code.

Recommendations For Android versions prior to 2018-04-05 security patch level, update to a version with a security patch level of 2018-04-05 or later to resolve the issue.
