Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions laravelCMS versions prior to 2018-04-02
Description An issue was discovered that allows the upload of arbitrary PHP files. This is because the file extension is not properly checked and uploaded files are not properly renamed in the ProfileController.php file.
Recommendations For versions prior to 2018-04-02, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the file upload functionality in the ProfileController.php file until a proper fix is applied. Restrict access to the file upload feature to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the file upload feature until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
