Description The issue affects the Rich Text Editor subcomponent of Oracle PeopleSoft Products, allowing a low-privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools. Successful attacks can result in the takeover of PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools.

Recommendations For versions 8.54, 8.55, and 8.56, update to a version that includes a fix for this issue to prevent exploitation. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Rich Text Editor subcomponent until a patch is available.
