Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Oracle Hyperion versions 11.1.2.4
Description The issue is related to insufficient access control in the EAS Console component of Oracle Hyperion Essbase Administration Services. It allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the service. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of the accessible data in Hyperion Essbase Administration Services. The estimated number of potentially affected devices worldwide is not specified. There is no information about real-world incidents where this issue was exploited.
Recommendations For version 11.1.2.4, consider restricting access to the EAS Console component to minimize the risk of exploitation. As a temporary workaround, limit the use of HTTP protocol for remote access until a patch is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
