Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions lean-ruport gem version 0.3.8
Description The issue allows local users to obtain sensitive information by listing the process, as the mysql user password is placed on the mysqldump command line in the test/tc database.rb file of the lean-ruport gem for Ruby.
Recommendations For lean-ruport gem version 0.3.8, consider modifying the test/tc database.rb file to avoid placing the mysql user password on the command line, or restrict access to the process list to minimize the risk of exploitation.
