Description The issue is related to inadequate access control in the Fluid Core component of Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools. It allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools, requiring human interaction from a person other than the attacker. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools' accessible data, as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools' accessible data.

Recommendations For versions 8.56 and 8.57, consider restricting access to the Fluid Core component until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, limit the use of HTTP protocol for remote access to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
