Intel 6th Generation Core Processors and greater, supporting Trusted Execution Technology (TXT)
Description
The issue is related to insufficient memory protection, which may allow a privileged user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access. This is due to a buffer overflow in the implementation of Trusted Execution Technology (TXT) in Intel processors.
Recommendations
For Intel 6th Generation Core Processors and greater, supporting TXT, consider restricting local access to minimize the risk of exploitation until a fix is available.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
