Description
The issue allows a local attacker to cause a denial of service by crashing the kernel. This can be achieved by sending a subset of ioctls on the device with invalid arguments.
Recommendations
For IBM Spectrum Scale versions 4.2.0.0 through 4.2.3.21, update to a version outside of this range to resolve the issue.
For IBM Spectrum Scale versions 5.0.0.0 through 5.0.4.3, update to a version outside of this range to resolve the issue.
