Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions im-resize versions 2.3.2 and earlier
Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via the exec argument. The cmd argument used within index.js can be controlled by a user without any sanitization.
Recommendations For versions 2.3.2 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the exec argument until a patch is available. Restrict access to the cmd argument in index.js to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
