Description:
A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue was found, allowing an arbitrary IFRAME element to be included in the help pages via a crafted link. This leads to the execution of arbitrary HTML and JavaScript in the user's browser, although it is sandboxed.
Recommendations:
For Wing FTP version 6.4.4, consider restricting access to the help pages until a fix is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the help pages or crafted links that could lead to the execution of arbitrary code. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
