Description: A vulnerability has been identified in affected applications due to the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data when parsing PAR files. This could result in an out of bounds write past the end of an allocated structure, allowing an attacker to execute code in the context of the current process.

Recommendations: For Solid Edge SE2020 versions prior to SE2020MP12, update to SE2020MP12 or later. For Solid Edge SE2021 versions prior to SE2021MP2, update to SE2021MP2 or later.
