Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Cisco Video Surveillance 8000 Series IP Cameras (affected versions not specified)
Description: The issue is related to a buffer overflow in the memory when processing Cisco Discovery Protocol messages, which could allow a remote attacker to cause the IP camera to reload. This can be achieved by sending a malicious Cisco Discovery Protocol packet to the affected device. The attacker must be in the same broadcast domain as the affected device to exploit this issue. A successful exploit could result in a denial of service (DoS) condition, causing the IP camera to reload unexpectedly.
