Description: A buffer overflow vulnerability in FORMATS!GetPlugInInfo+0x2de9 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted RLE file.
Recommendations: For Irfanview version 4.57, consider disabling the FORMATS!GetPlugInInfo+0x2de9 function until a patch is available. Avoid using crafted RLE files to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
