Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions ESRI Enterprise versions prior to 10.9
Description A cross-site scripting issue allows remote authenticated users to inject arbitrary JavaScript code via a malicious HTML attribute, such as onerror, in the URL field of the Parameters tab of the Document Link of documents.
Recommendations For versions prior to 10.9, update to version 10.9 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Document Link feature until a patch is available. Avoid using malicious HTML attributes, such as onerror, in the URL field of the Parameters tab to minimize the risk of exploitation.
