Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions furlongm openvpn-monitor versions 1.1.3 and earlier
Description The issue allows %0a command injection via the OpenVPN management interface socket, which can be used to shut down the server via signal SIGTERM.
Recommendations For versions 1.1.3 and earlier, consider disabling the OpenVPN management interface socket as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to the management interface to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
