Description A vulnerability exists in the vDaemon service of Cisco SD-WAN vManage Software. This issue could allow an authenticated, local attacker to cause a buffer overflow on an affected system, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition. The root cause of the issue is incomplete bounds checks for data provided to the vDaemon service. An attacker could exploit this by sending malicious data to the vDaemon listening service. A successful exploit could cause the vDaemon listening service to reload, leading to a DoS condition.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
