Description
The issue is related to the retrieval of Power Data Objects (PDOs) in the USB Type-C UCSI driver. Instead of retrieving just the first 4 PDOs, the code retrieves all PDOs. This change was introduced in Linux Kernel version v5.8 and was fixed in version v5.12.5. The actual impact and attack plausibility of this issue have not yet been proven.
Recommendations
For Linux Kernel versions v5.8 through v5.12.4, update to version v5.12.5 or later to resolve the issue.
